Archiving and reactivating YubiKeys

Archive a YubiKey to hide it from the dashboard and inventory when it's not actively managed. All login credentials and settings will be retained. You can reactivate the YubiKey at any time to resume management.

How to archive a YubiKey

– In the Appterix Management UI, navigate to YubiKey Management > Inventory.

– Select the YubiKey you want to archive.

– Scroll down to the section Archive YubiKey.

– Click Archive YubiKey.

The YubiKey will be the day Archived assigned, and the device is hidden in the dashboard and inventory.

How to reactivate a YubiKey

– In the Appterix Management UI, navigate to YubiKey Management > Inventory.

– Activate View archived YubiKeys.

– Choose the one with the day Archived marked YubiKey.

– Scroll down to the section Activate YubiKey.

– Click Activate YubiKey.

The tag Archived It was removed and the YubiKey reappears in the dashboard and inventory for management.

Optional steps

– Navigate to Settings > YubiKey Management, to automatically lock all archived YubiKeys.
