How do I see which users are using certain YubiKey models in the company?
Appterix offers the option of automated inventory of YubiKeys. When a new YubiKey is plugged into a device managed by Appterix, information about the YubiKeys, logged-in user and device is sent to the server. This data makes it easier to identify users who use a specific YubiKey series, for example. This information can be very helpful, especially when replacing old devices with new ones.
Current number of devices in a YubiKey series
Im YubiKey Management you find in Dashboard some useful graphical evaluations. To see how many YubiKeys of a model are in use, the graphic "YubiKey models“Here you can select the models specifically with a click.
Using a YubiKey series
Im YubiKey Management you find in Journal Information on the use of YubiKey devices. Among other things, it can be shown which users used the respective YubiKeys with their model name and serial number on which devices and at what time. The tags also show information about the status, flags and tags of the devices. In order to specifically analyze whether a model is currently being used by whom and on which device, you can enter the name of the YubiKey series or model range in the filter in the Model column.
Statistics of a YubiKey series
Im YubiKey Management you find in Furniture Information about YubiKey devices already managed by Appterix and automatically inventoried. New devices can have the status "New” or, for auto-assignment and manual assignment, the status “Assigned". A YubiKey that is assigned to multiple users receives the status "Divided". If a YubiKey is no longer found by the owner, the device can be used as "Lost". If a YubiKey is no longer allowed, it can be marked as "blockedIf you would like to know which statuses the respective devices of a YubiKey series have, you can enter the name of the YubiKey series or model series in the Model column in the filter under Inventory.
