User authentication to Appterix Agent

For security-relevant activities in the Appterix Agent, such as enrollment "on behalf of", a second authentication via the EMPlatform is required in addition to the Windows login.

Requirement: The user must be in the EMPlatform Aktiv and at least have the role "User" Users can be created manually or synced from an existing Active Directory and EntraID . You can configure the synchronization of Active Directory and EntraID under Settings > Integrations . Here you can configure that users can be activated automatically.

Methods: The Authentication can be accessed via a password set in the EMPlatform or via SSO (Active Directory, EntraID, FIDO2/ YubiKey, Okta, OneLogin). Please configure the relevant identity providers under Settings > Integrations .

Note: Activating users in the EMPlatform does not require licenses. Licensing is only required for activating users at the module level in Appterix.
