Manage Appterix Agent Updates

Use this setting to control which Appterix Agent versions are available for download and whether organization users are authorized to update the agent via the agent interface.

How to configure agent update settings

– Navigate in the Appterix Management UI zu Settings > General Settings.

– Scroll down to Agent Update Management.

– To allow users to update Appterix Agent on their devices, enable Allow agent updates.

– Choose under Agent versions the versions that will be available for download.

Latest Always assigns the latest agent version available at the current organizational level.
Inherited This means that the agent version is inherited from the root or a higher-level system.

By default, all agent update settings are inherited from the root level unless overridden at a higher or local level.

– Click Save.



The agent update settings have been successfully configured. The selected agent versions are now available under  Downloads .

If you activated the option Allow agent updates , Appterix Agent will automatically receive the new version, and users can update the agent via the agent interface.
