User authentication to Appterix Agent

For security-relevant activities in the Appterix Agent, such as enrollment "on behalf of", a second authentication via the EMPlatform is required in addition to the Windows login.

Requirement: The user must be in the EMPlatform aktiv be and at least about the role "User" Users can be created manually or from an existing user list. Active Directory and EntraID The data can be read out. You can configure the synchronization of Active Directory and EntraID under Settings > Integrations as a connector. Here you can configure users to be activated automatically.

Methods: The authentication can be accessed via a password set in the EMPlatform or via SSO (Active Directory, EntraID, FIDO2/ YubiKey, Okta, OneLogin). Please contact the relevant identity providers at Settings > Integrations as a connector.

Note: Activating users in the EMPlatform does not require licenses. Licensing is only required for activating users at the module level in Appterix.
