Enabling/disabling Application Access on the Appterix Agent

The Zero Trust Application Access (ZTAA) functions can be switched on and off depending on the authorizations on the agent. If application access is switched on, data about the start and use of applications is recorded and sent to the server. Permitted applications are allowed based on the hash value or manufacturer certificate or blocked using a hash value. If application access is deactivated on the agent, these ZTAA functions no longer work. This can be used for error analysis using the process of elimination if necessary.

Authorized users can activate or deactivate Application Access in the Appterix Agent user interface using the switcher button at the top right. This user interface can be opened using the Appterix tray icon.
