Active Directory user import filter

The user import from Active Directory can be done using the Start-OU be limited.

Enter entry DN the “Distinguished Name” (DN) of directory entries from which data should be synchronized.

Add a new line for each DN.

Valid entry types: Domain, domain DNS, organizational unit, container.

Entra ID user import filter

When importing from Entra ID you can also limit the OUs.
You will find the Filter Area in the Microsoft Entra ID synchronization configuration settings, where you can click the button Connect the administrative units are displayed in order to then select the OUs to be synchronized.
