Global Application Authorization List

Appterix offers the possibility of centrally allowing users to access applications based on manufacturer certificates or application files. There are various options for this.

Release of applications by manufacturer

Application access can be permitted in Appterix based on manufacturer certificates. This has the advantage of minimizing the administrative effort of the Zero Trust Application Access (ZTAA) solution, but also of blocking unwanted applications from unknown sources. This minimizes many risks related to compliance and malicious software. You can find an overview of the software manufacturers already managed at Global Acceptance List in the rider Production.

Manufacturers allow

With Global Acceptance List can be found in the tab Production the button Add Manufacturer. After clicking on this button, you will receive the overview Available manufacturers. This information is determined based on the data collected by the respective Appterix Agent from running applications. To allow a manufacturer, click on the + Button and then on AddIf necessary, you can deactivate or delete the release by clicking on the manufacturer name in the manufacturer overview.

Different files can be combined as products for the management of application access. These can be found under Global Acceptance List can be found in the tab Products To create a new product, click on the button add productsHere you can find information about required files using the button Add definition Furthermore, file information from the Journal add directly to the products.

To use Journal To assign a file to a product, click on the respective file and then on Add to approval listHere you can Add to product approval list and then select. You will then have the option to Add a new product or the file information Add to existing product to be able to.

Allow files

In addition to the option of managing application access by manufacturer or product, you can also manage application access using file information. You can find this option at Global Acceptance List in the rider filesHere you can find new add filesThe application information now visible is determined based on the data collected by the respective Appterix Agent from running applications.

Search for and select the applications that your users will be allowed to use in the future and then click add files.
