Requirements for local installations

As a SaaS solution, Appterix offers the advantage that you do not have to worry about installation, updates, maintenance, reliability, etc. The SaaS solution also offers the added value that your IT service provider can offer Appterix as a managed service. Supported server operating systems

Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022

Hardware requirement

Minimum:

• 1.4 GHz CPU
• 4 GB RAM
• 64 HDD
• 100 Mbit/s network connection

Recommended:

• Memory (RAM)4 GB (recommended: 16 GB)
• CPU: 1.4 GHz (recommended: 2.4 GHz multi-core)
• memory64 GB (recommended: 256 GB)
• Network Connection: 100 Mbit/s (recommended: 1000 Mbit/s)

Further requirements

• IIS 10 and higher
• .net Hosting 8.0.8 and higher
• Microsoft SQL Server 2016, 2019, 2022 (including the Express Edition of the listed versions)

Required permission for Windows authentication

Windows authentication requires that the "Log on as a service" permission is enabled. To enable this permission:

• Open the local security policy.
• Select Local policies > User rights assignment > Log on as a service.
• Select Add user or group… select the desired user and add the required user.
• Click OK.
