SAML integration: Secure login via your identity provider
Connect the EM Platform Server to your Identity Provider and enable secure authentication via SAML. This allows your users to benefit from simplified login using their existing credentials.
Integrate EM Platform Server with your identity provider
The SAML connector enables integration with any identity provider that supports the SAML standard. This activates single sign-on (SSO) and significantly simplifies the login process for users.
How to integrate EM Platform Server with your IdP
– Navigate to the EMPlatform UI Settings > Integrations.
– Click Add connector.
- Choose SAML from the list of available connectors, and click on Continue.
– Enter under Connector details the Namur and (optionally) the Description .
– Enter under Authentication settings the values provided by the IdP:
– – Enter in the field Entity ID (Identity Provider) Enter the URL of the Identity Provider.
– – Enter in the field Login URI Enter the URL for SAML SSO login requests.
– – Enter in the field Logout URI Enter the URL for SAML SSO logout requests.
– – Enter in the field Identity Provider Certificate the signature certificate of the identity provider.
The dialogue Configuration complete The SP details are displayed.
– Copy the following values and enter them into your IdP:
Entity ID (Service Provider)
Assertion consumer service URL
Service Provider Certificate

– Click Download metadata, to download the XML file. Import this file into your IdP to automatically configure the required fields.
– Return to EM Platform Server and click on Save, to save the configuration.
The SAML connector has been successfully configured. Users can now log in with their IdP credentials.
