Slot selection for certificate enrollment

In the area of ​​enrollment, Appterix offers the option of setting up certificate-based authentication. The process for creating certificates is set up and carried out automatically in the Active Directory Certification Authority (AD DC). The certificates are then stored directly on the YubiKey.

Here you have the option of selecting the respective slot of the YubiKey. Please note that in the YubiKey standard, slot 9a is defined for PIV authentication and thus for use with Windows authentication, for example. Choosing other slots may mean that the certificate cannot be used properly.
