Management of removable media with tags and status
Appterix enables centralized management of removable media and offers complete control over their usage and status. The combination of device status and dedicated device tags helps to quickly track changes and efficiently manage all connected devices.
Understanding the device status
Each status shows at a glance the condition of a device and how it is currently being used.
| Status | Description |
| New | A newly detected device that is not yet under active management. |
| Assigned | The device has already been assigned to a specific user and is in use. |
| Unallocated | The device is currently not assigned to any user. |
| Divided | The device is shared by multiple users. |
Understanding device tags
Device tags allow for the quick assignment of special identifiers, significantly simplifying the control and central management of devices.
| Tags | Description |
| Lost | The device was reported lost and marked accordingly. |
| Found | The device, previously marked as lost, has been found and updated. |
