YubiKeys are physical security keys that authenticate your users in addition to their passwords when logging into corporate systems. They provide strong protection against brute-force attacks, phishing, and other security threats.
Centralized YubiKey management in Appterix makes managing YubiKeys in your organization easy and secure. Appterix allows you to centrally inventory, manage and assign YubiKeys.
To inventory a new YubiKey in Appterix, simply follow these steps:
- Create your own organization in the Appterix administration.
- Install the Appterix Agent on the device where the YubiKey is to be used.
- Establish a connection between the central Appterix administration and the end device.
- Connect the YubiKey to the device.
Once the YubiKey is inventoried, information such as name, serial number, used by, specifications and certificates will be displayed in the Appterix YubiKey Management.
