Manage access to removable storages

Appterix allows you to manage access rights to external storage devices. This setting can be configured for users and groups.

Manage access rights

Open in the area User administration the navigation point User or Group Visits Then open the tab Removable Storage Management and select the objects that you want to manage. Here you can now Removable storage management module activate and switch between access rights full access, No access and write access For users, the rights of the group are inherited by default. If you want to assign individual rights, deactivate To inherit.

If you have the function Admission list enable, only devices from the approved list of the selected Production, Models or devices The administration of the approval lists can be found in the Removable Storage Access.
