Approval list by unique devices

In addition to the option of allowing models of USB storage devices or manufacturers using Allow Listing, Appterix Zero Trust Storage Access also offers the option of allowing individual devices to be allowed on USB removable media.

To use the approval lists, please activate the User administration on users or groups the option Admission list. Further information about User administration You will find here: Manage access to removable storages

The management of the targeted releases of individual USB data storage devices for approval lists can be found in the navigation area Removable Storage Access and then on Global approval lists. In the tab Unique devices You can now see the possibility of various devices to be added to the admission lists. As Access Control: You can full access or read-only The toggle function next to the device name allows you to enable this Enable or Deactivate.

click on Add unique device to create a new device. You will now be shown all devices that were previously connected to your Appterix-managed systems and are not yet managed in the list of unique device shares.

Existing device configurations can also be adjusted by directly clicking on the device.
